Spilling the Sauce: Why I Do What I Do
If you’ve ever sat around a table with loved ones, sharing a home-cooked meal and stories between bites, then you already understand why I do what I do.
I’m Anna—a private catering chef in Ocean County, NJ—but long before I started Eatalian By Anna, I was a little girl in Rome, rolling out fresh pasta on a floured wooden table. In our family, food was never just food. It was comfort, celebration, connection, and love all rolled into one.

After moving to New Jersey, I quickly realized how many people longed for that kind of experience: real food, made with care, served with heart. That’s what inspired me to start offering private catering and cooking classes. I wanted to bring a piece of my Italian upbringing into other people’s homes—and not just the food itself, but the warmth and joy that comes with it.
Now, whether I’m preparing a multi-course meal for a special occasion or teaching someone how to make homemade pasta for the first time, I get to share a part of my story—and help others create beautiful memories of their own.
Being a private catering chef in New Jersey has allowed me to connect with so many amazing families, food lovers, and home cooks. Every time I step into a kitchen, I’m reminded why I started: to spill a little love everywhere I go.
